When is This Designer Event?
It’s on the weekend of 27th – 30th October 2017.
The event’s hours are:
Friday 10.00 – 4.30
Saturday 9.30 – 5.00
Sunday Appointments from 10.00/10.30
Monday 10.00 – 4.30
Appointments will be available on Friday 9th to see these amazing gowns as well..
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, this is one of our ‘Strictly By Appointment Only’ events. It means that you’ll know exactly what time to come in order to have our full attention.
You’ll be able to look at the latest Essense of Australia wedding dresses, just released in the Autumn Collection, along with any other dresses in the shop.
And of course, we’ll have some very special offers to help you make your budget stretch a little further, just for the weekend.
Please note: because the event is so popular, please arrive no more than 5 minutes early. Also, don’t be late – you’ll miss out because we’ll be fully booked and your appointment is in our diary for a fixed time. We’ve got just 90 minutes to try out all of the dresses you like – it flies by!
Will There Be A Queue?
No, because it is strictly by appointment only and we ask brides not to arrive earlier than 5 minutes before their appointment.
If I Arrive Early, Where Can I Go?
Thrapston is a lovely market town and we can recommend the tea-room on the high-street, as well as The Bridge Hotel at the other end of town. Please do watch the time if you do pop off for coffee though as we cant make time up at the end of the appointment due to having booking one after another.
Can I Order One of the New Dresses?
Yes! Although no boutiques have got them yet, the latest collection of dresses from Essense of Australia will be officially available for you to order from our event.
In order to take advantage of the Special discount available during the event your gown must be ordered on the day, we will need to take measurements, and 50% deposit.
How Long Will My Dress Take To Be Made?
We receive your dress about 4-6 months after you place your order and pay 50% towards it.
Do I Need To Pay In Full When I Order My Dress?
You have three main options.
- You can set up a payment plan to pay for your dress in installments, starting with a deposit of £100
- You can pay a 50% deposit and we’ll order your dress immediately (most of our brides do this)
- You can pay in full for your dress if you would prefer to deal with it that way
