Yes, most Essense styles feature built-in corset or boning along with cups sewn into the bodice for support. Essense has its foundations in corsetry and the make some of the best structured and supportive wedding dresses. This means you don’t need to wear a basque or corsetry underneath your wedding dress – unless you want to!
What is the production time – How long before your wedding should you order an Essense dress?
The production and delivery time of your Essense of Australia bridal gown will be between 4-6 months from the moment you place your order. To give yourself time for alterations, we always recommend ordering 8-12 months before your wedding. This ensures there is ample time for your seamstress to make alterations and fit the dress to you.
Are sample gowns available to try on?
Yes, we carry an extensive collection of Essense gowns at Gowns & Garters for you to try on. In addition, we hold trunk shows every year where we showcase further dresses from Essense. These are always strictly by appointment, so that we have time to look after your needs properly.
