Julie opened the boutique in February 2005 after having worked for many years as a specialist seamstress and dressmaker for several UK wedding dress companies.
She uses this knowledge to select the labels that use the highest quality fabrics and construction methods to ensure you have the best dress for your day.
And of course, her wealth of knowledge in dress styles, fitting, altering and design mean that a dress bought and altered at Gowns & Garters will fit like no other.
Saffron
Saffron joined Gowns & Garters shortly after it opened. She has a wealth of experience to share with you about finding a dress that not only looks good, but feels good too.
She understands the alterations and bespoke work that's possible for a dress and can advise you how to make your dress truly unique during your bridal appointment.
She is lovely, but a bit camera-shy, so when you meet, please tell her a picture would look lovely on our website!
